The University of Iowa's marching band took part in a fan tradition during their game against Illinois on Saturday.
The band, players and coaches came together to form a giant hand to "wave" to patients watching from the Children's Hospital in Iowa City next door.
The "hand" moved side to side as patients watched out their windows to see the tradition take place during halftime.
The fan tradition was born last year, and originated from a Facebook post.
