WINTERGARDEN GRAND OPENING

Celebrate the grand opening of the Dilworth Park Wintergarden with a salute to veterans. On Friday, from noon to 11 p.m., skating on the Rothman Institute Ice Rink is free with a military ID. There will also be a performance by the Philly POPS Festival Brass and youth figure skaters. WINTERGARDEN EVENTS

FRANKLIN SQUARE HOLIDAY FEST (FREE)

The Franklin Square Holiday Festival is now open. The main feature is the Electrical Spectacle light show, which ignites every night and is completely free. ATTRACTIONS, FOOD & EVENTS

NCC IS FREE FOR VETERANS DAY

Admission to the National Constitution Center is free on Saturday in honor of Veterans Day. There will also be patriotic events, including concerts and a wreath laying ceremony. VETERANS DAY EVENTS

TRAINS ARE RUNNING AT CAMDEN CHILDREN'S GARDEN

The Camden Children's Garden celebrates a nostalgic favorite - trains! On Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m., children can enjoy train themed crafts, games, and railroad stories. TRAIN CELEBRATION

NOVA HOOPS BACK IN ACTION

Men's basketball powerhouse Villanova kicks off its season at the Wells Fargo Center Friday night. The Wildcats take on the Columbia University Lions at 8:30 p.m. SCHEDULE AND TICKETS

UNITY CUP CROWNS A CHAMPION (FREE)

The Philadelphia International Unity Cup championship will be held at Lincoln Financial Field. The months-long soccer tournament was created to promote support, inclusion, and appreciation for Philadelphia's immigrant communities.
