Victim ID'd in fatal Pleasantville shooting

PLEASANTVILLE, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police in Atlantic County are investigating the shooting death of a man in Pleasantville.

It happened around 5:12 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Linden Avenue and Merion Avenue.

Upon arrival, police found 29-year-old Rasheed O. Hines of Egg Harbor City, the apparent victim of a shooting.

Hines was transported by medics to the AtlantiCare Medical Center City Campus where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy is pending.
