Newly-renovated Hartranft Community Center reopens in North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A North Philadelphia community center that's been closed for two decades reopened its doors on Tuesday.

The Philadelphia Housing Authority showed off the newly renovated Hartranft Community Center.

The 60,000-square-foot property includes an indoor swimming pool, kitchen, classrooms, and several multi-purpose rooms.

There's also an adjoining playground.
