GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, New Jersey (WPVI) -- "I'm so happy for this program that changed my life for the best," said Peter Poole, who plays floor hockey with Special Olympics New Jersey.

Poole provided opening remarks at this weekend's Winter Games event, which took place at Stockton University.

Matches of floor hockey and volleyball took place at multiple locations in Galloway.

As January turns to February, the organization will host its next round of sports in northern New Jersey. This includes alpine skiing, snowboarding, figure skating, and even pickleball.
