A Havertown boy battling a rare form of cancer got the surprise of a lifetime, and two of Villanova's star basketball players were in on it.

HAVERTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- A Havertown boy battling a rare form of cancer got the surprise of a lifetime, and two of Villanova's star basketball players were in on it.

And just who was in Blaise Davis' new playroom? Ryan Arcidiacono and Daniel Ochefu of course!

It all came about when contractor Tim Moore was hired to build a playroom for the 4-year-old to use during his recovery.

Once the room was complete, Moore arranged to have the players surprise the little boy.

As it turns out, Blaise's parents are Villanova alum, and he's also a big fan of the team.

Needless to say, Blaise was really surprised!

And even better news, his parents found out Thursday their son is responding well to treatment.
