Police say the striking vehicle did not stop, but was pulled over farther down the road.

WASHINGTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A pedestrian is hospitalized after being struck by a possible hit-and-run driver in Gloucester County.

It happened just after 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the 4200 block of Black Horse Pike in Washington Township.

Police say the victim was struck by a vehicle in the northbound lanes of the roadway.

The vehicle originally did not stop, but was later pulled over up the road.

The victim was taken to Cooper University Hospital with what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries.

Washington Township Police are investigating.
