PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Some of us could see a grassy coating of snow Friday night, but then all of us will feel the wicked winter winds over the weekend.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and seasonably cool, low 31.
FRIDAY: Rain and snow showers become more prominent in the afternoon. High of 40.
SATURDAY: One last spoke of energy rotates through with a band of snow showers at dawn. This could leave a coating in many locations. Some sun then returns in the afternoon with gusty northwest winds. High of 35 feeling like the 20s.
SUNDAY: The bottom drops out and we have our first below-freezing day of the season. High of just 28, but thankfully much less and sunshine.
MONDAY: It remains cold with mostly sunny skies and a high of 32.
TUESDAY (CHRISTMAS EVE): Sun early followed by increasing clouds, high 37.
WEDNESDAY (CHRISTMAS): Mostly cloudy, high 41.
