PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two dueling systems interact tomorrow allowing for the chance of rain/snow for part of the area.

TODAY: Sprinkles exit the shore early. It's a sunny start to the day with high clouds filtering in by the afternoon. It's cooler and more seasonable with a noticeable NW breeze, high 46.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy, seasonable. Low 31.

FRIDAY: Dry yet cloudier start to the day. Rain or snow showers during the second half of the day. It's possible that we could see a period of snow showers at night that may leave a coating on grassy surfaces by Saturday morning. High 42.

SATURDAY: As the winter solstice arrives, it will feel very much like winter! Clouds mix with sunshine, high 35.

SUNDAY: The coldest air of the season arrives! Despite plenty of sunshine, temperatures only hit a high of 29. Bundle up! Bitter cold temperatures are expected Sunday night with lows in the teens.

MONDAY: A very cold start to the day. Plenty of sun, high 31.

TUESDAY (CHRISTMAS EVE): Sun early followed by increasing clouds, high 38.
