AccuWeather: Early AM storms, summerlike temps Wednesday for Philadelphia region

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Temps take a run near 90 today while Mother's Day Weekend is looking cool.

WEDNESDAY: A gusty thunderstorm is likely, especially early in the morning. Clouds breaking for some sunshine and becoming breezy, humid and very warm. High 89.

THURSDAY: Cloudy and unsettled with a few scattered showers and thunderstorms possible. We'll have to see if any are severe, at this point it looks like a better chance for severe weather south of the city. High 72.

FRIDAY: Limited sunshine with a shower or two in places. A rumble of thunder can't be ruled out. High 65.

SATURDAY: Variable clouds, a late day shower can't be ruled out but best found north and west of the city. High 67.

SUNDAY (MOTHER'S DAY): Mostly cloudy skies, a spotty thundershower or two. High 67.

MONDAY: Sun and clouds. A bit warmer than the weekend. High 72.

TUESDAY: Sunny to partly cloudy skies. High 76.
