PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- After a summer-like Monday, the rest of the week is not as ho, but remains well above normal.

TUESDAY: A backdoor cold front will be slipping into the northeastern portions of our area making for a wide range in highs from SE to NE. We'll get into the mid-80s for areas of interior southern Jersey, southwest Pennsylvania and Delaware, but up near Trenton and Ocean counties, temperatures will hold in the 60s and 70s.

At the same time as the backdoor front is moving through those areas, a cold front to our west will be approaching. This will kind of put us in a squeeze play and lead to a few thunderstorms and downpours as we get toward the evening. The most likely place to see activity appears to be in our western counties of Lancaster, Berks, Lehigh where the boundary will be arriving late in the day.

WEDNESDAY: Come Wednesday morning, the cold front will still be slowly pushing through and we could see a morning sprinkle and definitely a cloudy start.

As long as that front keeps moving, we will clear out for some sunshine in the afternoon hours and temperatures will top out in the mid-70s.

THURSDAY: Turning much brighter and a tad warmer with a high of 80.

FRIDAY: Still looking really nice with a blend of clouds and sun. High 75.

SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy with a few showers around late in the day or night, high 68.

SUNDAY: We'll start with some showers and lots of clouds, high 67. For the Broad Street Run, it could be rather wet.
