WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia fire crews battled a two alarm blaze in West Philadelphia.
The fire broke out just after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday on the 4800 block of Walnut Street.
Heavy fire was showing on the third floor of a three story apartment building.
A second alarm was struck around 6:30 p.m. before firefighters were able to get the blaze under control.
12 people have been displaced. They are being assisted by the Red Cross.
There were no reports of injuries.
A cause is under investigation.
