Man stabbed outside West Philadelphia lounge

A man in his 30s was stabbed to death after walking out of a West Philadelphia lounge.

It happened around 1 a.m. Monday outside the El Toro's on the 4400 block of Westminster Avenue.

Police say the victim was stabbed multiple times.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police think the motive may have been robbery since there was an ATM machine nearby.

Investigators are checking video from nearby cameras.
