3 hospitalized after car slams into Wilmington home

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Wilmington police are investigating an accident that has left three people injured and caused damage to a home.

It happened shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of E. 11th Street.

Authorities say it appears the vehicle left the road and struck several porches before coming to a stop after striking the porch of a house at 11th and Kirkwood Streets.

Three people were transported to Christiana Hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

Wilmington police and the Department of Licenses and Inspections responded to the scene.
