WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- The News Journal of Wilmington reports that Anthony Goode urged residents on the blog to speak out against eliminating funding for eight vacant firefighter jobs. He went on to write of the council members who think the jobs should be cut, "those council districts will be the districts that we will be forced to consider reducing coverage in!"
Council President Theo Gregory called Goode's comments "asinine," and Coucilwoman Loretta Walsh says Goode appeared to be threatening residents.
Goode says he wasn't targeting any districts and that he wanted council members to realize the impact of their actions.
