PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It's almost Halloween, and that means it's time for an annual party at the Philadelphia Zoo: Boo At The Zoo!
It's a weekend-long Halloween celebration with your favorite animals.
"The whole place transforms into a trick-or-treat environment," said the zoo's director of conservation education, Kristen Waldron. "It's a safe environment. It's just so much fun."
There's live music, a scarecrow scavenger hunt and the zoo's new deforestation-free palm oil zone.
"It's part of the zoo's commitment to addressing the impact of palm oil on wildlife," said Waldron.
There's also the Penguin Pumpkin Patch and a big parade.
Kids can dress up in costumes and join the parade, which steps off both Saturday and Sunday at noon.
It marches past the no-so-scary Extinction Graveyard.
The best part: it's all free with your zoo admission.
