Delaware tops William & Mary

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) - January 2, 2008

Delaware was able to hold William & Mary to just 4-of-19 from 3-point range.

Peter Stein had 23 points for William & Mary, which lost its 10th straight. Nathan Mann added 12.

Delaware led by as many as 11 in the second half before the Tribe pulled to within 46-42 with 4:07 remaining. Mann's 3-pointer cut Delaware's lead to 52-49 with 1:18 left, but Mann then missed a jumper and then later William & Mary turned it over as Delaware hit free throws to seal the win.
