Bulldog is among top dogs again
NEW YORK (AP) - January 17, 2008
According to the American Kennel Club, the thick-set, sagging snout
canines have waddled their way into the Top 10 most popular breeds.
It's the first time in more than 70 years bulldogs have cracked the
doggie Top 10. The Kennel Club notes the bulldog makes an excellent
all-around family pet. The AKC says the Labrador retriever remains
the most popular dog breed in the U.S. for the 17th consecutive
year.
