"This is a woman I loved for 19 years," said Matt Goebel.
He had his suspicions, but he says he never dreamed his wife was having an affair with a 16-year-old boy, until he found the alleged evidence.
"His phone number and pictures on her cell phone of him. I found pictures of him on my bed and in my shower," he said.
Donna Goebel worked as a teacher's aide at the Burlington County Special Services School. Her alleged victim is a student.
Goebel has two daughters, ages 16 and 18. Her husband says the decision to turn her in was agonizing.
"I don't know what to do. You are angry. You're sad. You feel defeated," he said, choking back tears.
Goebel says when he confronted his wife with the cell phone pictures she got a restraining order against him. He says he can't even comfort his own daughters now.
Donna Goebel says the youngest is at home with relatives.
"I have family at my home right now, so she will be fine," she told the judge.
It's the same home where Matthew Goebel says his wife carried on with a 16-year-old boy.
"She admitted that she kept this special needs child in our home for three nights and four days. The pictures have dates on them," he said.
Now, Goebel says he wants nothing more to do with his wife as she tries to raise bail money.
"I hope she rots. I hope she stays there and rots," he said.
If convicted, Goebel faces between five and ten years in state prison.
