Both officers, ages 25 and 26 were taken to Temple University Hospital with neck and back injuries. Both are now home recovering.
One person was taken into custody, and was charged with DUI. Police have not said what led to the chase.
Police officers injured in accident
NORTH PHILADELPHIA - February 19, 2008
The officers were involved in an accident at 6th and Cambria Streets just before 9:00 tonight.
Turns out, officials said, the vehicle they were pursuing hit the officers' patrol car.
