Three new murders in Philadelphia

Philadelphia police are investigating three new murders.

The first happened at 4:30 Wednesday afternoon. A 29-year-old woman was stabbed to death on the 38-hundred block of Cambridge Street in Mantua.

An hour later, a 22-year-old man was found shot to death inside a car on the 78-hundred block of Temple Street in West Oak Lane.

Police have not made any arrests in either of those cases.

They are questioning a suspect in the stabbing of a woman on the 48-hundred block of Frankford Avenue. That happened at 8:00 Wednesday night. The victim died later at the hospital.
