Stray bullets from a gun fight hit houses and a daycare center this afternoon. The shooting happened around 1:50 p.m. at the intersection of 2nd and Calvert Streets.

Authorities said 8 to 10 shots were fired from two guns.

One bullet went into a home and hit the wrist of a 53-year-old woman inside. She was taken to Einstein Medical Center for treatment. She was listed in good condition.

Another bullet went through a window of the "Your Child's World" daycare. The bullet went over the heads of the kids, and landed about three feet from where they were napping.

Twenty-five to thirty toddlers and young children were inside the daycare at the time.

The daycare is located about a block and a half from where police say the shooting happened.

Two more bullets went through another home. No one was hit there.

Police are still investigating. No suspects have been arrested.
