It has two-plus acres of food aisles along with free babysitting for parents shopping there, self-checkout islands, a cooking school, four community meeting rooms, and a wireless Internet cafDe.
The company says the store has 475 full-time and part-time employees.
The new market will compete with a 125,000-square-foot Wegmans that opened in the Valley Square Shopping Center in Warrington in late 2006 and a Wal-Mart Super Center opening in the area in May.
