Man wanted for attempted bank robbery

PHILADELPHIA - March 7, 2008 The man in the surveillance photos is wanted for the attempted robbery of the Citizen's Bank located at 2702 Kirkbride Street on Friday morning at 10:46.

The subject is described as a white man in his 50's, approximately 6' tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a tan colored "Carhart" jacket with a dark collar and a dark knit cap.

According to the FBI, he entered the bank and approached the counter. He presented the teller with a demand note for money. When the teller hesitated before opening her drawer, he walked out without taking any money.
