The Los Angeles County D.A.'s office has confirmed that it rejected the case last month, citing lack of evidence. Morales' attorney says he's happy the actor was vindicated and that Morales was never questioned by the police, never taken into custody, and there were never any charges brought against him.
He also notes Morales' former girlfriend continued to live with the actor for months after the alleged attack.
The woman claims Morales raped her in April 2006. A lawyer representing her in a civil case says her client "absolutely" stands by her allegations.
