Scotty the elephant celebrated his first birthday at the zoo in Louisville, Kentucky, over the weekend. Zoo keepers also helped Scotty show off some of the tricks he's learned.
Or, rather his training behaviors, as his handlers call it.
Scotty's birth was a big deal for the zoo, which had been trying to breed its females for more than a decade.
The baby was conceived through artificial insemination and the mother's pregnancy lasted for more than 600 days.
