Rolling Stones film premieres in New York
NEW YORK (AP) -April 1, 2008 Richards says director Martin Scorsese let them do a Stones show. Richards' other favorite part:
playing with Buddy Guy. The film was shot at a Rolling Stones
concert in New York in 2006. Mick Jagger says choosing the songs
was the hardest part and they wanted a mix of well-known songs and
unfamiliar ones. He says they had to "know them and love them and
play them" with a limited amount of rehearsal. "Shine a Light"
had its premiere in New York on Sunday and will open in theaters
Friday.
