No IDs for some in quadruple fatal

GEORGETOWN, Del. (AP) - May 5, 2008

It happened Saturday night in Georgetown. Three of those killed were inside an SUV that hit two cars after not slowing down for a traffic light, then collided head-on with an oncoming pickup truck.

Police say their bodies were not immediately identifiable.

The other person killed was 29-year-old Rolanda Ayers of Lewes. She was behind the wheel of the first car struck by the SUV.

The exact number of injuries is unclear because police say the driver of one car involved in the crash fled the scene afterward. And police say the drivers of the two oncoming cars involved in the accident were both under the influence of alcohol. Charges are pending against them.
