Man murdered, woman raped in carjacking

BENSALEM, Pa. - May 11, 2008 It started just after midnight on Sunday in the 4500 block of Castor Avenue in front of Jalpeno Joes. A man and woman were carjacked, then taken up to the on ramp on Route 1 at Street Road in Bensalem. That's where the man was shot in the back of the head and killed.

Police say the woman was then taken to a hotel in Lawrenceville, New Jersey where she was raped repeatedly. She was able to escape this afternoon and call police.

Police are looking for the stolen vehicle, which the suspects were last seen. It's a 1998 Black Buick Regal with a temporary Pennsylvania tag of EYK-9463.

Anyone with information on the identity and/or whereabouts of the suspects is urged to call police.
