Chase briefly shuts down I-95 in DelCo.

RIDLEY PARK, Pa. - May 19, 2008 Pennsylvania State Police were in the pursuit of a vehicle that traveled from Philadelphia on southbound 95 and ended at the Ridley Exit.

It turns out that police had tried to stop the Subaru on the Schuylkill Expressway for a vehicle code violation, but the driver didn't stop.

Police chased the car over the Platt Bridge and onto I-95.

Lawmen say Franklin Wright of Delaware hit two state police cruisers in the process. He's been charged with aggravated assault.
