Incognito Bandit strikes again

CHESTNUT HILL - June 11, 2008 Police and the F.B.I. Say the man struck around 12:30 at the Wachovia Bank branch in the 8500 block of Germantown Avenue.

He used a demand note to flee with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Authorities believe the suspect is the same man who has robbed 5 other banks in the city dating back to late February, including two banks within a block of today's holdup.

He's believed also responsible for the following robberies:

2/26/08 - Freedom Credit Union - 4900 Princeton Ave.
3/10/08 - Citizens Bank - 8616 Germantown Ave.
3/17/08 - Citi-Bank - 8500 Germantown Ave.
6/6/08 - St. Edmonds Credit Union - 5873 Ridge Ave.
6/9/08 - M & T Bank - 117 S. 18th St.

The suspect is described as possibly bi-racial, in his mid 30s, approximately 5'7" to 5'8" tall, with a light complexion and thin build. He is clean shaven, and has dark hair and dark eyes.
