Remembering an Action News photographer

June 13, 2008 Len Lannon was a long-time photographer for Action News.

He primarily worked for us in South Jersey, but as all of us know, there were few places he would not go to get us a story.

Len died yesterday from complications of an operation he had last month. He was 50 years old.

He had been married to his wonderful wife, Kathy, for nearly half his life. He brought two beautiful daughters into the world: 16-year-old Brianna, and 20-year-old Kelly.

And he was one of the hardest working employees who ever walked through the doors at Channel 6.

It makes us all very sad to know Len will never be back. But all of us are very happy, and very fortunate, to have known him.

Len, we miss you. And we will never forget you.
