2 shootings, 1 block apart in Wilmington

Wilmington Police are trying to determine if two separate shootings are connected. An 18-year-old arrived at Wilmington Hospital Thursday night with a gunshot wound to the stomach. He told police he was shot near the intersection of 30th and Washington Streets in Wilmington.

Then police officers received another call for a shooting a block away on the 200 block of 30th Street. There they found a 25-year-old man with a gun shot wound.

The second victim was taken to Christiana Hospital and is expected to be okay.

Detectives are trying to determine if the victims are from the same shooting scene.
