Ice cream: can it get any better?

Elements Café is well-known locally for innovative dining experiences.Owner/chef Fred Kellerman helped introduce the small-plate concept now popular in many restaurants.

His latest innovation is unusual ice cream flavors: balsamic vinegar, saramelized onion, and his latest, a sangria sorbet. The flavors are not all sweet, but they're not as unusual as they sound.

Kellerman uses them in many courses. They're also available to take out, and he'll custom-make a flavor "to go" with a day's notice.

Elements Café is open Tuesday through Saturday for lunch and dinner. It is located just off the White Horse Pike on Station Avenue in Haddon Heights, New Jersey.

Elements Café is one of 35 South Jersey restaurants participating in the annual Farm To Fork Week promotion starting Sunday, July 27th. It gets you a full-course dinner featuring fresh produce for only $35 per person. For information, phone 856-546-8840, or visit their website, http://www.elementscafe.com.
