Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a crash on the Route 1 Media Bypass in Delaware County this morning that injured two people. It occurred around 5:30 a.m. in Marple Township. Police say a Honda Accord, driven by 62-year-old Carol Hartzell of Havertown, Pa., was entering the ramp for the Blue Route from Southbound Route 1 when she failed to stop for the red light.

She hit a PECO energy truck that was on the ramp for the Northbound Blue Route and had the green light.

Hartzell is being treated at Crozier-Chester Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

The truck driver, 57-year-old Richard Young of Media, is being treated for minor injuries at Springfield Hospital.

All traffic from Route 1 South to the Blue Route was blocked for about a half hour.
