Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Chris Clemons was released from a hospital where he was treated for dehydration Tuesday. Clemons was helped off the field at Lehigh University about two hours into the team's Tuesday morning practice. He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital in an ambulance, but never lost consciousness. He returned to the training facility later Tuesday, the team said on its Web site.

Clemons signed a five-year contract with the Eagles in the offseason, and is competing for a starting spot.
