Soul celebration!

Philadelphia hasn't won anything in such a long time, so to see this is such a novelty. Some 5,000 fans showed up to celebrate Bon Jovi and his Soul team's championship, and they were really eating it up.

Thousands lined down Market Street as members of the Philadelphia Soul paraded by for what was to be a celebration, the likes of which Philadelphia has not seen in years. All that was missing was the ticker tape.

Soul quarterback Matt D'Orazio said today's experience was, "Unbelievable. I'm speechless. This is absolutely incredible. Best fans in the world showing up - passionate about their sports... I'm speechless. This is absolutely unbelievable."

Team members were drunk with euphoria over the reception this city has given them. No other city in America has embraced their Arena Football League team like the fans in Philadelphia.

Bon Jovi told the crowd, "This is the little train that could. This is the sports team that said we're going to be your sports team, and we're going to be the team that you feel apart of the most. We want to thank you for the opportunity to let us be apart of your lives as much as you've become apart of our lives. So, let us celebrate the moment. The 2008 Arena Bowl Champions. And thank you for this honor."

Despite the fact that this team isn't apart of the big 4 sports, they still managed to capture the imagination of this city.
