When firefighters arrived they encountered flames shooting from the first floor of the home and quickly went to work battling the flames.
There were reports of someone still in the home during the fire, but those reports proved to be false.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control by 6:00 a.m. and have not released a cause for the fire.
