An autopsy confirmed the cause of death as drowning. A toxicology report is pending.
Lee was not wearing any clothes when she was found. Her purse and clothing were discovered near her body.
Police said Lee's body showed no obvious signs of trauma.

The body of Patrita D. Lee of Philadelphia was discovered by a
couple walking on the beach about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.
