Motorcyclist killed in Del.

Delaware State Police say a 36-year-old man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle, and then was hit multiple times by oncoming vehicles in the Glasgow area.

The crash occurred early Sunday morning on Route 896, just north of Porter Road.

Police say the motorcycle was northbound when the driver lost control. Police say the bike traveled onto the grass median, where it flipped several times The driver was thrown from the bike and landed on the southbound lanes of the road.

Police say the man was struck by at least two southbound vehicles. He died at the scene.

Police have not released his name.
