Attempted kidnapping suspect returns to Del.

CLAYMONT, Del. (AP) - August 26, 2008 Thirty-three-year-old Kimberly Jernigan was arrested Thursday at an Interstate 95 rest stop in Maryland after police say she fled from the apartment at the Whitney Presidential Towers.

She is charged with attempted kidnapping, aggravated menacing and burglary.

Court records say Jernigan had driven to Delaware with a plan to take the man with her "to live out west." Police say the two had met on a Web site called "Second Life." The man called 911 after he arrived home and found her there. She fled before police arrived, but left behind her dog, handcuffs and duct tape.
