Search for "well-dressed" bandit

EXTON, Pa. - September 29, 2008 - Police say he's lifted more than $10,000 worth of high end electronics from warehouse stores over the past few weeks.

He's also brazen. Making no attempt to disguise himself, he walks into the stores in broad daylight.

In one instance, he was seen lugging out a $1,000 computer from the Sam's Club in Exton, Pa.

"He selects either a computer or flat-screen TV and simply walks out the front door with it," said Det. Scott Pezick of West Whiteland Twp. Police.

The suspect apparently knows excactly what he's looking for. He was in and out of that Sam's Club within two minutes.

Police say he also appears to have an accomplice.

"In many cases they observed a white female with black hair in that BMW when he left the store," said Det. Pezick. "The car is parked, waiting for him, and he jumps in and leaves the area very quickly."

That black BMW sedan is hard to trace. he suspect is using license plates that have been stolen from other cars.

He has hit stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

He came to one store in Downingtown twice, back on September 17th and then again just this past Saturday.

In Plymouth Meeting he knocked a store employee to the ground.

Police are hoping someone recognizes him.

If you do, call police at 610-692-5100.
