Dianna Smith is a rancher.

But she's not raising cattle.

Her livestock is quite a bit smaller.

She's the owner of the Alaskan Reptile and Cricket Ranch.

She has racks of trays and 30-gallon barrels crawling with things like crickets and mealworms.

Her bugs are destined to be dinner for reptiles and birds.

Her customers include wildlife treatment and rehabilitation centers.

Smith tells the Anchorage Daily News she's been a bug nut her whole life.

She adds growing up with five brothers, who used to try scare her, might have something to do with it.
