Pa. man dies, firefighter hurt in house explosion

GAP, Pa. (AP) - December 7, 2008 The intense two-alarm blaze that engulfed the single-family cabin in Salisbury Township.

Gap Fire Chief Brad Kurtz says the man who lived in the cabin died in Saturday's blaze. He did not know the victim's identity.

Neighbors also did not know the victim's name. They say he moved there from California several months ago.

One firefighter was taken to a hospital for treatment after she slipped and fell on the slick road.

Kurtz said the cause of the explosion was not immediately known.
