One hurt, one jailed following wreck

A late night crash put one person in the hospital, and police put another driver behind bars in Camden County.The accident happened along southbound Route 42 near the I-295 northbound ramp in Mount Ephraim, N.J. at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

Investigators tell Action News that one vehicle was speeding when it crashed into another vehicle and then continued to roll over and burst into flames. The driver of the first car was not hurt. The women driving the second car is hospitalized but is expected to recover.

Police say they also found a gun from the burning vehicle. Its driver was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.

Traffic was detoured for several hours while police completed their investigation.
