Police say a fight broke out during a party at the American Legion post in the 1700 block of North 24th Street Saturday morning. When the disturbance spilled outside, someone pulled out a gun and started shooting.
Three women were shot, two of them in the legs. They are expected to survive.
A man shot several times died at Hahnemann University Hospital.
Police have not announced any arrests in the case. They are trying to figure out what sparked the melee.
