Firefighters injured in Chester City blaze

2 firefighters were injured battling a house fire this morning in Chester City. Flames were reported around 7:15 on the 2700 N. Forward Street.

The fire went to 2 alarms before being brought under control.

Crews rescued a dog from the fire.

The two injured firefighters are said to have suffered only minor injuries.

No word on a cause.
