The Kalkaska County, Michigan, sheriff's deputy has been stripped of his badge for going to the strip joint while on duty.
Robbins says he went to the topless club to speak with the manager and didn't drink any booze.
Robbins tells the Traverse City Record-Eagle that stopping by local bars is part of his enforcement duties.
But sheriff's department officials say Robbins spent an unreasonable amount of time in the topless club.
