Turning 21 not easy for autistic woman, or her parents
HATFIELD, PA.; February 19, 2009 She was diagnosed with autism at the age of 6, though Trina & Michael say the signs were there from birth.
They talked with Action News HealthCheck Producer Dawn Heefner about life with their daughter, and their concerns as she approached her 21st birthday - a time when services for those with autism become even harder to get. They hope their story will bring this problem to light.
