Meningitis in Allentown school

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - March 6, 2009 Meningitis is a contagious and potentially deadly infection spread through close contact such as kissing or sharing utensils.

Health officials have sent letters home to parents telling them about the case.

Students who've had close contact will be notified.
